Puts success in the service of loved ones or a partner. Comes across as attractive and charming and works hard for others so that they can be the successful ones. Keeps their own ambitions somewhat in the shadows.
One-to-one Threes want to be attractive and to support the people they love. Their ambitions are less visible because they channel them into the success of a partner, family, or team. They work hard, but often for others.
They tend to be charming, attractive, and very attentive to how they come across to a specific person. They know how to be whoever the other person wants them to be. Meanwhile, they keep their own ambitions and needs in the shadows, so at first glance they may look more like a Two. They tend to be kind and rather shy, and don't like talking about themselves.
Of all the Threes, they show emotion the most. Beneath the attractive exterior, though, they often feel empty, unsure of who they are, and low in self-worth. They disconnect from their own feelings and from pain.

What the one-to-one instinct is
Attention turns to an intense connection with one person or one thing: chemistry, attraction, closeness, passion. People with this instinct in first place seek depth and intensity, can devote themselves fully to something, and get bored by superficial contact.
