Overcomes fear by going against it. Comes across as strong, defiant, and bold, sometimes even reckless. At first glance, easily mistaken for a Leader.
One-to-one Sixes deal with fear by going straight at it. Instead of running away, they attack. They come across as strong, bold, defiant, and sometimes even reckless. At first glance, they don't look like a worried person at all. This is the so-called countertype of the Sixes: they turn fear into its opposite.
But beneath that strength is the same fear as in the other Sixes. They just don't show it. They want to be strong, strong enough that others are a little afraid of them, because no one attacks someone who looks strong. That strength can be physical strength and stamina, but also attractiveness. They tend to be direct, rebellious, suspicious of authority, and full of energy and courage.

What the one-to-one instinct is
Attention turns to an intense connection with one person or one thing: chemistry, attraction, closeness, passion. People with this instinct in first place seek depth and intensity, can devote themselves fully to something, and get bored by superficial contact.
