They focus their attention on one person. They know how to charm, give the other person their full attention, and spare nothing. The relationship is the center of everything. They find rejection hard to take and sacrifice a lot for closeness.
One-to-one Twos focus all their attention on one person. They can be remarkably attractive, attentive and generous. They sense what the other person needs and give it to them before they even ask.
Behind this devotion is a strong need to be the one and only for someone. The relationship is the center of their world, and they're willing to sacrifice a lot for closeness. Rejection hits them very hard, and they'll fight for the person they want.
Devotion has another side, too. Unlike the other Twos, they're not as ashamed of their own desires. A strong bond with one person is their way of getting what they need without having to ask for it. They're lovers more than helpers, and they find “no” and boundaries hard to accept.

What the one-to-one instinct is
Attention turns to an intense connection with one person or one thing: chemistry, attraction, closeness, passion. People with this instinct in first place seek depth and intensity, can devote themselves fully to something, and get bored by superficial contact.
