Nine strategies, nine ways of seeing the world
Each strategy has its own core motivation and core fear. There's a bit of all of them in each of us, but one usually leads.
Heart Center
They react through feelings and relationships. The theme is self-image and the need to be valued: the Altruist through helping, the Strategist through success, the Individualist through uniqueness.
Head Center
They react through thinking. The theme is fear and uncertainty: the Expert retreats into knowledge, the Traditionalist seeks security, the Optimist escapes into possibilities.
Body Center
They react instinctively, through the body. The theme is anger and control: the Leader shows it openly, the Mediator numbs it, and the Perfectionist keeps a lid on it and turns it into criticism.
