A more introspective, serious version of the Strategist. It's about performance, but also about the quality and distinctiveness of what they do. They come across as professional and demanding, but they're more sensitive than they let on.
A Three with a 4 wing finds self-worth mainly in work and career. They want what they do to be outstanding and recognized. They pour enormous energy into their profession and sacrifice a lot to maintain their professional standing. They can be diplomatic and charming, but in a more serious, task-focused way.
Inside, strong ambition mixes with self-doubt. They feel that every project puts their entire worth on the line. Outwardly they seem competent and composed, but in social settings they tend to close off, and they're more sensitive than they let on.

They differ from a Three with a 2 wing in seriousness and reserve: the 2 wing is more sociable and lighter. They differ from a Four with a 3 wing in that the core is success and performance, not authenticity. A Three with a 4 wing wants to be excellent; a Four with a 3 wing wants to be unique and recognized.
